Accesus’ MODUBLADE U3.4 blade platform is a suspended scaffold designed especially for the access and inspection work on wind turbine blades in wind farms.

It differs from its counterpart MODUBLADE II in that it is a larger platform and offers slightly less maximum load capacity.

Made of aluminum, the MODUBLADE U3.4 is a suspended platform that can be completely dismantled into small pieces for easy transport. Equipped with an e.lift® 600 electric lift, the MODUBLADE U3.4 is certified for lifting people and work tools. It also has a braking system, emergency lowering, and an overload detector. It also has a securichute® 600 fall protection system. And for added safety, the MODUBLADE U3.4 has a dual cable suspension system (one for work and one for safety).

The platform offers ergonomics designed to fit the windmills and their wind farm blades in the best possible way. The MODUBLADE II blade platform has 3 EN 795 anchorage points, a non-slip floor, 1 and 1.3 meter high railings, and rubber protections to prevent damage from knocks and scratches.

The MODUBLADE II suspended scaffolding is delivered with its corresponding CE certificate and its use and assembly manual, as marked by the European Machinery Directive 2006/42 and EN 1808.
